Uniform

Our School Uniform

Whilst we would like all of our pupils to wear school uniform, we recognise this may be difficult for some due to their learning needs, care needs or neurodiversity but our aim is to work with our young people and families towards wearing this.

We would ask parents/carers to consider their child’s personal care needs and the activities that they are participating in during the day (e.g. swimming) when deciding what their child should wear each day. Dress and hair styles that reflect pupils’ culture or religious beliefs are welcomed and celebrated.

We do offer school logo uniform, however you are more than welcome to purchase plain clothing items that match these.

Lower and Upper School Pupils

> Plain Royal Blue polo shirt, Navy Blue sweatshirt and black or grey trousers, jogging bottoms or skirt

Sixth Form Students

> We don't have a specific uniform in Sixth Form but we do require our students to wear appropriate items of clothing. > James Rennie logo hoodies are available to purchase throughout the year for our Post 16 students. These can be purchased via Arbor.

For PE

> Pupils wear Shorts, PE shoes and a Red cotton t-shirt.

Seasonal Clothing

> Students may wear suitable seasonal clothing to keep them comfortable and safe. In warmer weather, lighter clothing such as short sleeves and sun hats are allowed. In colder weather, students may wear extra layers, warm coats, hats, and gloves.  All seasonal items should be practical and appropriate for school activities.
