School Meals
Lunchtime is an important and enjoyable part of the school day, as well as a valuable learning opportunity. During this time, pupils are gently supported in developing important life skills. Some may need help with the practical aspects of eating, while others are encouraged to build confidence with table manners, independence, and positive social interactions with their peers.
All meals are freshly prepared on site, and pupils are also welcome to bring a packed lunch if they prefer. We are happy to cater for special dietary requirements—please feel free to discuss any specific needs with the school so we can provide the best possible support.
The price for a school lunch is £2.20 | All pupils in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 receive Universal Free School Meals.

Free School Meals
Any parent who feels their child will be eligible for Free School Meals can apply through Cumberland Council – this will allow your child to receive additional financial support towards the cost of curriculum trips etc.
