We offer lots of support for our youngest pupils with a focus on communication, movement, independence and confidence.
We want our very youngest pupils to enjoy learning through play and exploration.
Independence & Confidence
Early Years is about the first step into School and away from the home. We recognise how difficult this can be for parents and children.
We hold monthly sessions in conjunction with Barnardo’s called Messy Play – it’s a chance for parents, perspective parents and children to come into school in a relaxed atmosphere and find out what has been happening, talk to staff and other parents.
When parents choose to send their children to our school they want to know that we will keep them safe and help them to thrive, this requires the ultimate trust in us as a school and individual professionals.
By following The Early Years Foundation Stage framework we can provide parents with that assurance.
